The thesis is devoted to the study of the interval hypoxia effect on rats' pancreatic islets beta-cells morphological state in normal and in the development of experimental diabetes mellitus. Based on complex research it has been established the peculiarities of morphological and functional state of pancreatic islets beta-cells under the influence of interval hypoxia in healthy rats, as well as the specific features of morphological and functional state of beta-cells in experimental diabetes mellitus. It has been shown the influence of interval hypoxia on the functional state of beta-cells in experimental diabetes mellitus.
