Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improving the effectiveness of complex rehabilitation and quality of life in children with cerebral palsy (CP) by increasing their adaptive resources using of normobaric hypoxic training (NHT). Clinical and instrumental study was carried out at 128 children of age since 1 up to 7 years old with CP. In result of the study decrease of adaptation abilities of children with CP was revealed that was characterized by susceptibility to often colds, decrease of tolerance to physical load, increased fatigability, signs of syndrome of vegetative dysfunctions, decrease of cerebral hemodynamic indices. According to results of life quality evaluation using PedsQL questionnaire, "Cerebral Palsy" module and QUALIN decrease of life quality indices at children with CP was revealed. It was proved that NHT improved adaptation abilities according to results of heart rate variability study, decreased asthenia syndrome and syndrome of vegetative dysfunctions, improved mobility, increased tolerance to physical loads, logopedic and psychological correction efficiency that was conductive to life quality indices improvement. On the basis of the received results practical recommendations on NHT use in complex rehabilitation of children CP were developed; life quality evaluation of children with CP as the criterion of carried out rehabilitation was developed and introduced in healthcare practice.
