Kostiuchenko O. Psychological Peculiarities of the Development of Social Perception of Future Mass Media Specialists

The dissertation deals with the phenomenon of the development of social perception as an important professional characteristic of future mass media specialists. Various views on the concept of social perception have been summarized and classified. Having considered the psychological structure of professional activities of mass media specialists, the author has elaborated his own conceptual model of social perception of such specialists and has defined its basic structural components. On the basis of comparing social perception of future mass media specialists with that of the specialists of acme period, the author has defined the psychological peculiarities of the development of social perception of prospective mass media specialists which consist in creating specific psychological and pedagogical conditions. The analysis of the results of creating such conditions has proved their effectiveness and their possible wide use in the establishments of higher education which provide training for mass media specialists.
