Object - process of wind measurements by the meteor radiolocation method. The aim - theoretical and experimental justification of the possibility to use television broadcast signals for wind measurements by the meteor radiolocation method. Methods - the theory of radiolocation and radiowaves propagation, imitation modeling, experiment. Results - the meteor radiolocation method is improved, the opportunity of using of television broadcast signals as sounding signals for this method is justified, the new radio system is created.
