The thesis outlines the expression of new genre and style trends at the turn of the XIX - XX centuries in the G. Chuprynka's artistic heritage as a leader of grouping "Ukrainian house," Chuprynky's benefits in the terms of artistry and culture of writing among the poets'-"hatyan" are determined.The peculiarity of artist's outlook, and self identity is analysed, the dominance of aesthetic category of beauty in Grytsko Chuprynka's creativity is denoted, artist's specific approach to comprehension of modernistic position of poet's mission and his relationship with the people is outlined.
