Pozova D. The legal position of building and loan associations according to the Ukrainian legislation

The thesis is a special complex research of theoretical and practical problems of the legal position of building and loan associations according to the Ukrainian legislation. In the thesis a definition of building and loan associations and their place in the system of private law juridical persons are determined. Organizational and legal aspects of building and loan association foundation are researched. Special attention is paid to the participation of juridical persons and associated membership in building and loan associations. Legal nature of a membership in the building and loan association and its correlation with corporative legal relations are found out. Grounds of origin, change and cessation of membership legal relations in building and loan associations are determined. Rights and obligations of a building and loan association member are defined. Theoretically grounded proposals and recommendations for improvement of current legislation and the Draft Housing Code of Ukraine in the part of regulating of building and loan association position are formulated.
