In the dissertation the parameters of working elements of corn crushers are grounded, in particular consumer powers, processes of material grinding with taking into account the kinematics parameters (rates of movement and pressure) of food-air layer in a crushing chamber, and also following methods of interaction of working elements and material: cleaving and elimination, cut and cleaving. The methods of estimation of the construction materials durability of corn crushers are developed after shock-tireless crack growth resistance Кfc for the cantilever beam jammed near lateral hub and deformed by the Р permanent bending force and f permanent bending, and also after К1с static crack growth resistance of the deformed beam by a three point bend allowed to carry out the rankings of the 30ХГСА, 65Г, 60С2А thermally-fixed steels, and ВЧ50-2 and СЧ20 cast-irons and also the weld(ing) deposition connection of the 30ХГСА steel. On the basis of maximal values of these descriptions the rational mode of the thermal strengthening of the indicated materials is chosen for making of hammers, deck, rotor, which work off the resource. It is suggested to make the hammers and rotor with 30ХГСА steel, the deck - with 65Г that ВЧ50-2 accordingly in case of small fraction fines and large fraction fines grind, rotor -with 30ХГСА steel. In the case of deep wearing of working surfaces the hummers are surfaced by the wearproof powder-like wire of the Св.08Г2С brand. Introduction of new developments for making of hummer and rotor impact chafing crushers with the use of the mixed methods will provide the high-quality technological process of corn materials crushing at the lessen of energy consumption by the processing industry productions.
