Hutorna S. General and vocational-technical education of convicts to imprisonment

The thesis is a complex and systematic study of general and vocational-technical education of convicts to imprisonment. The study reveals social-legal purpose of education of convicts to imprisonment, historical-legal analysis of their education, definition and content of education of those convicted to imprisonment in Ukraine, foreign experience of education of such persons and its implementation into national practice. The ways to improve general and vocational-technical education of convicts to imprisonment are suggested, namely by means of legal provision and cooperation between penal colonies and educational establishments, state and non-state bodies and organizations.
