The thesis is devoted to the decision of the actual problem of modern obstetrics – prophylaxis of cytomegalovirus infection during pregnancy, lowering of the frequency of complications of pregnancy and (child) birth of women who have AIDS and cytomegalovirus infection and of the cases of vertical transmission of AIDS and cytomegalovirus infection from mother to the fetus by working out of the methodical approach to the choice of the methods of treatment of cytomegalovirus infection of women who have AIDS. For the first time the frequency of acute and persistent cytomegalovirus infection is stated by pregnant women who have AIDS. On the basis of studying separate immune and hemostasialogical data, complications of pregnancy and childbirth, pathology of newborn babies of pregnant women who had AIDS with acute cytomegalovirus infection, acute form of chronical infection and latent chronical cytomegalovirus infection and without it, the schemes of combined antiretroviral therapy with immunoprophylaxis and immunotherapy. It is proved that the suggested complex method of the useof immunotherapy together with antiretrovi-ral therapy in relation to pregnant women with AIDS with acute cytomegalovirus infection or acute form of chronical cytomegalovirus infection lowers the frequency of the menace of abortation in 2,86 times; premature birth – in 5,00 times; IUGR – in 9,99 times; asphyxia of newborn – in 7,00 times; RDS – in 6 times and perinatal mortality on 11 0/00, and also prevents the cases of infection.
