Essay

Dissertation is devoted to hygienic grounds of measures of individual and group prevention of iodine deficient diseases in the population of Polesie. For this research was choosen Nosovskyi region, Chernigov region, Malyn district of Zhytomyr region and boarding schools in Kyiv. Found that the content of macro-and micronutrients in food does not satisfy physiological needs. Indicators of urinary iodine in corresponding areas are indicating of mild iodine deficiency. Close connection between the level of ioduria and the level of iodine deficient diseases is not found. Found that using of dietary supplements "Barba-iod" improved not only iodine level, but level of red blood cells and performance level of erythropoiesis. It means that all scholars have normal iodine supply, but a large percentage of children have iodine deficient diseases. Developed and approved guidelines, based in the research.
