Bulchak V. The analysis of influence of vasoactive and nootropic drugs on functional state of CNS and cardio-vascular system in post-ischemic stroke elderly patients.

Dissertation is devoted to reorganization of cerebral and central hemodynamics, bioelectrical activity of brain in post-atherothrombotic ischemic stroke elderly patients and the analysis of influence of cerebrolysin and nicergolin on cerebral and central hemodynamics, bioelectrical activity of brain. The the study has shown that features of cerebral and central hemodynamics, bioelectrical activity of brain in post-stroke elderly patients depend on hemispheric localization of stroke. The correlation are formed between the central and the cerebral hemodynamics in post-stroke patients. The using cerebrolysin, nicergoline and combination of them improves the central, cerebral hemodynamics, the autoregulation of cerebral hemodynamics and bioelectrical activity of brain. The features of influence of cerebrolysin, nicergoline and combination of them on functional state of brain depend on hemispheric localization of stroke. The using of cerebrolysin is more effective in patients after right hemisphere stroke. The treatment with nicergoline and combination of cerebrolysin and nicergolin leads to a more apparent amelioration of cerebral hemodynamic and bioelectrical activity in post-stroke patients with cerebral infarct in the left hemisphere.
