The thesis provides new approaches to the study of the morphofunctional status of gastric mucosa before and after bariatric operations, preoperative comorbidity adjustment of the upper gastrointestinal tract using minimally invasive techniques.The paper first describes the endoscopic and radiological semiology rules and complications after banding and gastric bypass, performed their correlation, the clinical signs of complications after these operations, developed diagnostic-therapeutic algorithms using endoscopic techniques in the treatment of the fistula stenosis and the syndrome-slippage after gastric banding, anastomozitis and ulcer of gastrojejunostomy after gastric bypass.
