Object: Slavic thematic lexicography. Objective: comprehensive study of theory and practice of making thematic dictionaries. Methods: general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, the descriptive method, the structural and semantic method, methods of terminological and comparative analysis. Scientific novelty: determined that for the first time in Slavic linguistics conducted a comprehensive analysis of Bulgarian thematic lexicography. The practical value: the use of courses in Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Slavic lexicography, general linguistics.
