Dissertation is sacred to research of problem of forming of self-educating competence at the study of English for professional intercourse for the students of unlinguistic specialities with the use of of informatively-communication technologies. Essence and structure of independent work of students is analysed in the field of professional education. For development of effective methods of forming of the indicated type of competence for the students of unlinguistic specialities pedagogical terms and methodical pre-conditions of the use of informatively-communication technologies were certain in the process of teaching. The analysis of results of the experimental teaching confirmed efficiency of the worked out methods.
