Dissertation is devoted to the development of combined albumin-carbon hemosorbents with mass-fractal structure for removal of protein-bound toxins upon hepatic insufficiency, and to the study of their sorption capacity toward protein-tropic compounds, hemocompatibility, malfunction of albumin of patients with hepatic failure and the causes of its development, and also to the possibilities of its renewal after blood plasma purification on albumin-carbon sorbents.
