Barchuk M. The development of Ukrainian literary language in Galicia in the middle of the XIX century: phonetics, grammar, vocabulary.

Complex assessment of historical and social background of the period as the significant factor of influence on language forming process in Galicia as poly-ethnic and poly-cultural region is realized in this work. Phonetic, spelling, grammar, stylistic and lexis and semantic peculiarities of new literary language in Galicia mentioned period are analyzed in this work. The analysis of origins of the middle of the XIX century - periodicals "Lirvak z-nad Sianu", "Peremyshlianyn", "Zoria Galytska", etc. affirms that new Ukrainian literary language of Galicia of the middle of the XIX century reveals a high functional level of phonetic, grammar and lexical system and main stylistic features, the tendency to approaching a literary language to folk language, dynamics of normalization process.
