Essay

Theoretical and methodological aspects of the development and evaluation of tourism and recreational resources of tourism area have been deepened. Classifi cation of resources,tourism and recreational resources through attracting new approaches to determining the classifi cation features have been systematized and improved. The essence and peculiarities of formation of tourist and recreational resources of the Transcarpathian region have been founded, their current situation has been analyzed and the main problems of their rational use in the recreational area of the region have been identifi ed.
