Essay

Object: processes of influence of a fertilizing system, plant density, sowing dates on grain yield and quality of sunflower. Aim: optimization of growing techniques for sunflower hybrids belonging to different maturity groups and oil fatty-acidic composition in seeds in the conditions of the eastern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods: field, laboratory, chemical, biochemical, statistic, calculating. Novelty: for the first time in the conditions of the eastern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine the peculiarities in the formation of grain yield and seed quality in sunflower hybrids with different maturity groups and different oil fatty-acidic composition depending on growing techniques have been studied in complex. For the conditions of the area main elements of the technology such as, fertilizing system sowing rate and dates of sunflower hybrids of different maturity groups and oil quality have been improved. A further development of the investigation on the study of agroecological belonging of sunflower hybrids has been undertaken. The best growing techniques for sunflower hybrids from an economic and bioenergetic point of view have been chozen. Results: elements of sunflower growing technology have been improved and new hybrids' reaction to growing techniques has been studied: fertilizing system, sowing dates and rates, which were taken into account while developing the recommendations and have been introduced into production. Application stage: introduction of the findings into EE EF "Elitne" of Kharkiv district and VAT "Verbivske" of Balaklia district of Kharkiv oblast on the total area of 131 ha has ensured yield increase of sunflower by 0,36-0,44 t/ha, net profit - 424-621 hrvn/ha and profitability level by 24,8-38,2 %. Application area: agricultural enterprises of all forms of property of AIC of Ukraine.
