In the dissertation there was made a complex research of the methods of preventing the crimes connected with pollution of the environment or its separate elements. There were considered peculiarities of penal and legal protection of environment from pollution there, made a long-term criminological analysis of criminal environmental pollution, determined the most significant indicators that cause and promote such a category of crimes.
