The thesis is dedicated to a complex analysis of the problem of doctrinal interpretation of the law on criminal responsibility. The author has examined the state of research of the problem in law books. Methodological approaches to understanding of interpretation depending on the researcher's views of law have been analyzed. The concept of doctrinal interpretation of the law on criminal responsibility has been defined proceeding from its content characteristics. The author has set the grounds for distinguishing methods of the above interpretation type, pointed out such methods and analyzed each of the methods taking into account the specific characteristics of the doctrinal interpretation of the law on criminal responsibility.
