Tsvirkun N. Criminal liability for mismanagement of land's usage

The social value of land is defined and the necessity for their comprehensive protection from negative man-made burden is proved. The grounds and conditions of criminalization concerning mismanagement of land's usage are investigated. The systematic research of the content and special features in objective and subjective signs regarding mismanagement of land's usage is realized. Several specific issues of criminal responsibility and punishment for mismanagement of land's usage are examined. The paper concludes with recommendations to improve the standards of national legislation on liability for mismanagement of land's usage (a new version of Art. 254 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is formulated).
