The dissertation is devoted to solving actual scientific problem of reducing the incidence of diphtheria among children in Ukraine by improving the tactics of vaccination against diphtheria among children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus type I.The scientific problems of studying of the general laws of infectious and noninfectious pathological processes was further developed during researches. Methodological approaches of tactics of immunization against diphtheria among children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus type I were improved. First suggested Performing of research of the influence of type I diabetes in the state of the active artificial specific antitoxic immunity against diphtheria, depending on the vaccination and duration of diabetes were performed for the first time; data of humoral and cellular immunity of children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus type I was studied. The results of these studies are designed to endocrinologist to appropriate treatment and rehabilitation measures and to prepare the immune system of patients with diabetes to respond adequately to the inoculation of diphtheria toxoid.
