Retman M. Most spread fungal diseases of spring wheat and their control under conditions of Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Dissertation is devoted to investigation of species composition, distribution, dynamics of diseases in spring wheat under conditions of Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine and improving the system of their control Based on the analysis of data on major diseases of spring wheat is shown that powdery mildew, brown leaf rust, septoria leaf blotch are dominant. The high level of infection of grain of spring wheat with pathogenic fungi was established and their species composition was determined. F. sporotrichioides dominates in complex of fusarium head blight pathogens in spring wheat under conditions of Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The most common cause of the alternaria head blotch are A.tenuissima (incidence of 49.8%) and a complex A. infectoria (46,5%). It was found that spring wheat varieties Nashchadok, Kuchumovka, Etude, Nedra are less affected by the complex of leaf diseases. Application of fungicides Acanto plus (0,5-0,75 l / ha), Solihor (0,9-0,9 l / ha), Alto super (0.4 l / ha) favoured to increase the chlorophyll content and improve grain quality. Technical efficiency of modern seed disinfectants and fungicides against the major diseases of spring wheat was evaluated. By the economic efficiency of their application.
