The dissertation is devoted to investigation of peculiarities civil-legal protection of dwelling rights the persons. It is examined, with the aim of decision setting tasks, doctrinaire approaches to notions of safeguarding and protection of dwelling rights, essence and classification of methods to protection of swelling rights and interests of persons, common elements of legal mechanism of determination of dwelling conflicts, valid standard-legal base and long-term development of legislature in this sphere. In research is examined the features of judicial and non-judicial determination of dwelling disputes. Formulated the new point of view to classification of methods to protection dwelling rights and interests of persons, considered peculiarities of self-protection of dwelling rights of such persons. For results of investigation it is proposed ways of improving the legislature, it must regulated the peculiarities of civil-legal protection of dwelling rights of persons
