Kartamyshev O. Structural and semantic modeling of phraseological microsystems (on materials of the microsystem "Abilities of a person").

Object - a phraseological microsystem "Abilities of a person" in the Ukrainian language. Goal - to research the structural and semantic modeling of the phraseological microsystem "Abilities of a person" in the Ukrainian language. Methods - descriptive, analytical; sampling; component analysis; structural-semantic modeling; quantitative and statistics methods. Taking up the system aspects of phraseology, the characteristics of notions in phraseological macro- and microsystems is given, and the expansion of hierarchical structure in ideographic phraseological units' classification is proposed. The structure of thematic phraseological field denoting the abilities of a person is analyzed based on ideographic aspect. The achievements of contemporary psychology, particularly data of differential psychology or psychology of individual differences that studies the abilities of a person, are used as well. The method of structural and semantic modeling of phraseological units is actively used. The typical structural, semantic and morphological features of the phraseological microsystem "Abilities of a person are described. The connotation peculiarities of phraseological units are defined. Application - an academic process, compiling the ideographic dictionaries.
