The work investigates the historical, geopolitical and national-mental inspirer of formation and development of genres of chamber-vocal music in the creative practice of different generations of Lviv composers in the second half of the ХХ-th century: by patriarchs - S. Lyudkevych, V. Barvinskyj, R. Simovych, M. Kolessa, E. Kozak, A. Kos-Anatolsky, D. Zador, by senior - I. Majchyk, M. Skoryk, B.-Y.Yanivskyj, by average - W. Kaminsky, Y. Lanyuk, O. Kozarenko. Discourse of their works allowed to define the following features of the genre studied as personal character, installation of a direct nature of communication with the audience, mobility of small performing group (cast), refinement of emotional palette, high degree of detail in the interpretation of the poetic word, flexible response to the productive tendencies of renewal modern intonation dictionary, free, unbiased nature of the composer's creative intentions. The housing of all created in this genre area is divided into academic and variety, pop-entertainment directions. The first group includes renewed samples of Old Galician-elegy, Solo-singing, songs, ballads, spiritual songs, cycle for voice and piano; to the second - a rock ballad, hit, chanson, dancing song, that interpreted in the spirit of national mentality The openness of regional traditions toward modern European culture, new approaches to current tendencies of academic and pop-art entertainment in reliance on traditions formed by the classics led to a high aesthetic value of artistic achievements to the representatives of the Lviv school of composition of the second half of the twentieth century, their wide public resonance and demand Philharmonic and the mass audience of today. Concert activity of famous singers contributes to the transformation of chamber-vocal music into a powerful tool for popularization of Ukrainian idea of a global span. .
