Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the science of law teaching methods for students majoring in economics. The theoretical analysis of psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature with regard to the thesis contents has been made, the term "legal competence of students majoring in economics" has been analyzed. The main components of legal competence (cognitive, activity procedural, values and motivation) have been determined. The criteria and levels of developing the legal competence of students majoring in economics have been defined. The methodological conditions of teaching the law of science for students majoring in economics have been theoretically grounded and experimentally verified. The experimental methodology of the science of law teaching for students majoring in economics has been developed and approbated. The process and the results of the experiment let us affirm that introducing the described law teaching methods for students majoring in economics into the educational process raises the level of legal competence their legal competence effectively.
