Afanasieva O. An artificial complex infectious background in breeding winter wheat for group resistance to major fungal diseases

The dynamic of the agents of brown rust, speckled leaf blotch, culm rot of wheat, powdery mildew has showed on an infectious artificial background and a natural background during research. The effectiveness of artificial backgrounds on different resistant varieties of winter wheat has demonstrated. Different types of relationships between different pathogens in joint disease have discovered as a result of field and laboratory studies. A change in the immunological response of winter wheat with infection two and three pathogens has marked. The scientific-approaches scheme of creation of complex artificial infection background of pathogens on winter wheat has suggested using the results of laboratory and field studies and also the nature of the interaction of agents with each other and with a plant. The methodical requirements for its creation in selection process have been successfully used in the creation of a variety of winter wheat Myronivska storichna. This variety has the group resistant from pathogens as powdery mildew, brown rust, speckled leaf blotch and culm rot of wheat. Myronivska storichna introduced in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine in 2009. The author is a co-author of the variety.
