Essay

The object of research is the process of passenger transportation in the railway transport system. The study was conducted with application of methods of mathematical statistics, genetic modelling, the fuzzy sets theory and systems approach. The work presents a theoretical justification of the selection process, and application of rational circular routes of passenger trains. A set of models is the basis for the formation of the automated technologies of the selection of rational schemes of the turnover of passenger trains, which is integrated in subsystems of the automated control system of passenger transportation on the Ukrainian railways.
