Khyzhniak K. Representation of the totalitarian past in Ukrainian prose of the 90s of the XXth - early XXIst century: ideological discourse and poetics.

The subject of inquiry is the prose of P. Zagrebelny, M. Matios, O. Zabuzhko, Y. Andrukhovych, N. Snyadanko. The aim is to determine the characteristics of artistic reception of the totalitarian past, its ideological interpretation and aesthetic realization in Ukrainian prose end of the XXth - beginning of the XXIst century. The research methods are descriptive, comparative, historical and elements of cultural and motivic analysis. The results and novelty: for the first time the development of the ideological discourse associated with the comprehension of totalitarianismon has been elucidated on the material of modern Ukrainian prose; the specific features of the image of totalitarian regime in the texts of writers of different generations have been defined. The field of application: the courses of the History of the Ukrainian Literary, the Literature Criticism of the late XXth - early XXIst century.
