Essay

Objective: determining the principles of formation cellular shopping complexes and methods of the architectural planning organization and artistic-decorative formation. Scientific inovation of the results: determining specific relationships between the architectural structure of the bazaars and new shopping centers, and also the creation of complex elements of traditional spaces and methods for designing the Iranian bazaars, which needs for projection of cellular shopping complexes in Iran; classification of cellular shopping complexes by important features; definition functional structure of cellular shopping complexes; comprehensive consideration in architectural and planning organization of cellular shopping complexes in Iran, by it's results are determined regional characters for planning schemes of cellular shopping complexes; definition of the principle of functional planning and three-dimensional organization, and the principles and metods of organization of interiors of cellular shopping complexes and their comunication spaces. The practical results. The principles of the design of cellular shopping complexes, their functional structure, range of traditional elements and spaces can be used as guidelines for architects in designing of new shopping centers or renovation of existings, and also for development of regulations for the design of shopping centers. The results of the study will help to understand the real requirements of the subjects with trading process, which will adjust the design process of shopping complexes. The results can be used in the educational process for training architects.
