Essay

Object: Polish linguistic terminology. Objective: comprehensive lexicographical analysis of the structure and semantics of Polish linguistic terminological units in various types of dictionaries. Methods: descriptive method, definitional, morphemic and word-formation analysis, technique of component analysis. Scientific novelty: the first attempt of a comprehensive study of linguistic terms in Slavic linguistics in its lexicographical aspect has been carried out.The practical value: the use of modern Polish language in courses of lexicology and lexicography, special courses on terminology and derivation, special seminars on Polish language.
