Scientific novelty of the results is to disclose the role of government regulation to ensure the development of rural tourism. the theoretical and methodological approach to the preparation of indicative plans in rural tourism at the regional level, the formation of legal support of business activities to provide services to rural tourism have been improved by developing the draft of the Law "On the village green tourism" which secured the legal framework of rural tourism. Conceptual apparatus, the definition of "public guarantees of rural tourism", methodical approach to solving the problems of state and local authorities have received further development.
