The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the institute of bailiffs after the Judicial Reform in Ukraine in 1864. The genesis organs of the execution of court decisions in the pre-reform period in Ukrainian lands is studied. The process of development of the institute of bailiffs at the preparatory stage of Judicial Reform in Ukraine in 1864 is analyzed. The question related to the legal regulation, organization and practical activity of bailiffs according to the Judicial Reform in 1864 in Ukrainian provinces are thoroughly examined. The thesis focuses on the aspects of the organization and activities of bailiffs according to the Judicial Reform in Ukraine in 1864, which have not lost their relevance and can be taken into account in the process of reformation on the Governmental Executive Service of Ukraine.
