Essay

The thesis gives the results of pathogenesis study of paracetamol lesin of the liver. There where found out the peculiarities of the course of paracetamol intoxication when using the extract of aerial part of the ordinary horse-radish. The conducted studies showed, that the primary stage in the development of toxic hepatitis after paracetamol getting into rat's organism (1250 mg/kg) is the activation of free-radical processes, depression of antioxidant system, increasing of penetrability of erythrocytes and hepatocytes membranes. In the conditions of pathogenic action of paracetamol, the rendering safe and bile discharge liver functions are depressed. The obtained results are confirmed with morphological researches, that testity to the development of dystrophic-necrotic changes of epithelium and the lesion of epithelial components structure in the liver of animals. The extract of aerial part of ordinary horse-radish in the dose of 150 mg/kg manifested the positive influence of the course of free-radical processes in the affected organism, caused the restoration of detoxic and bile discharge liver function and led to the decrease of penetrability of erythrocytic and plasmatic membranes of hepatocytes.
