The thesis presents generalization and ways of solving problem of organization of independent work of the basic school students on chemistry using aids of knowledge visualization, that is developing of methods of independent work of the basic school students on chemistry with use of the knowledge visualization aids developed, and specifying its efficiency. Effective influence of organization methods of independent work of the basic school students on chemistry using visualization aids of knowledge on cognitive independence forming has been experimentally tested. The results have proved effectiveness of the pedagogical research.
