Puzak O. Pharmacognostic study of Armeniaca vulgaris Lam. raw material.

The thesis is devoted to the study of biologically active substances from fruit and leaves of apricot some varieties and substances obtained from them. The composition and quantitative content of main groups of biologically active compounds were determined in the raw material. 24 individual compounds were isolated and their structures were established. A dietary supplement "Fruity from the apricots" of "YUVET" series was created, its standardization parameters were determined and technical specification of TS U 15.8-35477619-001:2008 (produced by PE "Poroshcova galuz Ukrainy ") was developed. A dry extract from the apricot leaves was obtained, and its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory pharmacological activities were determined. The standardization parameters and projects of the quality control methods for the raw material – apricot leaves - and its dry extract were created.
