Essay

The necessity of adjusting of formulation and solution of the classic problem of filtration consolidation of soils by taking into account the concentration gradient of salts of the pore fluid is based. A mathematical model of the classic flat filtration consolidation problem by taking into account the influence of salt concentration gradient of the pore solution is improved. Firstly, the estimated relationship between the coefficient of filtration consolidation and concentration gradient of salt solution in a second order polynomial which adequately describes the relationship between the main factors the consolidation process is offered.
