Organizational and legal bases of combating economic criminality in the industrial complex of Donbas during in the New Economic Policy period are investigated in the dissertation on the bases of a considerable file of archival materials, standard legal definitions, and also a wide range of historiografic sources. The dissertation reviewed the causes of economic crime, analyzed the criminal law of that time and gave the classification of economic crimes. The attention is paid to analysis of functions and powers of militia in the course of counteracting separate kinds of economic crimes in the industrial complex of Donbas and possibility of using this historical experience at the present stage.
