Dvulychanska O. Prose of V.Yavorivskiy: problems, genre and style features.

Detailed analysis of V.Yavoriwski's prose works allows to highlight in it both small (novel, short stories, lyrical miniature etc.), and medium and large forms of the genre (novel in short stories, art and documentary novel, political novel, novel-chronicle, bizarre novel, artistic and biographical novel, videonovel) that were dominant at certain stages of the writer's artistic development . They make his work multidisciplinary and thematically diversed. A genre progress of the writer occurred from small genre forms that were dominant in the first period - to the attainment of medium and large ones - in subsequent periods. It allows to state that genre and stylistic features in the works are determined by the type of story, plot-compositional features, the volume of the work, functional fullness of time and space, the specifics of character-making and principles of characters' typification and individualization.
