Essay

The topical scientific and technical problem of rock pressure effect forecasting during the mine working advancing and adaptation of mine working support parameters to changeable geomechanical processes is solved in this candidate's thesis. The new rock massif deformation conformities to natural laws during the mine working advancing are investigated. The method of pressure effect forecasting during the mine working advancing is improved. This method is notable for two stage forecasting. The first stage of preliminary forecasting is carried out during the mine working designing. The second stage of routine forecasting is performed during the mine working advancing. The two stage forecasting make it possible to improve mine working stability and cut down expenses.
