Baydin U. State Sovereignty and Its Limits in the Context of the European Integration (Theoretical Issues)

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the state sovereignty limits in the context of different forms of the European integration. The definition of the state sovereignty and its features are examined; the correspondence between the notions "state sovereignty" and "sovereign rights", "state sovereignty" and "economical", "tax", "informational sovereignty" is provided. The author proposes his definition of the sovereign rights and its features. The role of the national security and its sub-forms in the assuring of sovereignty of the state and separate sovereign rights complexes is determined. The influence of the under-governmental and intergovernmental integrative unions like EU and the Council of Europe on the sovereignty of their member-states, candidate-states and the neighboring countries is analyzed.
