Galus O. Forms of Direct Democracy in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the researching the forms of direct democracy in Ukraine. The concept, the essence and the basic signs of the forms of direct democracy have been analyzed in the dissertation. The certain aspects of correlation of the forms of direct democracy with the representative forms of realization of state and municipal power have been analysed. The normative and legal and organizational and legal principles of the mechanism of realization of direct democracy in its existing forms have been analysed. The scientifically grounded recommendations on improvement of the constitutional and legal regulation of the forms of direct democracy in Ukraine taking into consideration the positive international experience have been made.
