Essay

The basis of the data are of clinical and instrumental examination of 127 patients with hypertension and metabolic syndrome. We prove the necessity of determining the ratio of leptin/adyponektin, along with determination and IMT, endothelial function, as an additional surrogate marker of coronary atherosclerosis and diagnosis of high cardiovascular risk. The possibility of normalization of blood pressure and correction of surrogate markers of atherosclerosis patients with hypertension and metabolic syndrome should prefer a fixed combination of amlodipine and atorvastatin.
