The thesis deals with the genesis of sustainable development, the Strategy of Sustainable Development and international approaches to national sustainable development strategies, conditions and defined the strategic goals of sustainable development of Ukraine; improved categories of research on the subject, the essence and characteristics of the information component of the strategy for sustainable development of Ukraine, principles of information governance of sustainable development; international standards for monitoring sustainable development and approaches to the development of national indicators (indicators) for sustainable development and on the basis indicators (indicators) for monitoring sustainable development in Ukraine, analyzes the role of social and institutional factors of a component strategy of sustainable Ukraine's development and peculiarities of communication processes in government sustainable development.
