Adarichev V. Effect of trimetazidine on the course of chronic heart failure of ischemic etiology

The study object is chronic heart failure of ischemic origin. The study aim is to decrease frequency of hospitalizations due to heart failure decompensations. The study methods are clinical, biochemical, instrumental, statistical. The novelty: association of heart failure decompensations with painless myocardial ischemia severity, symatho-vagal imbalance, serum NT-proBNP level, insufficient relaxation type of diastolic left ventricular dysfunction is established; possibility to reduce the risk of hospitalization in connection to heart failure decompensation in patients using trimetazidine is demonstrated. The observed data was introduced into practice of Institute of urgent and recovery surgery named after V.K. Gusak of the National Academy of medical science of Ukraine (Donetsk), Zaporizhya municipal hospital № 10 and №6, Makiivka Clinical hospital №1, Slavyansk Central city hospital, and also into the educational process of Donetsk national medical university named by M. Gorkiy and Zaporizhya medical academy.
