The new decision of the important scientific problem was obtained - the pathogenic unity of the main components of insulin resistance syndrome, their proatherogenic signifi-cance, the possibility and efficacy of the complex influence on these components with administration of pioglytazone - PPA receptor agonist was determined. The syndrome develops in full volume and unites the lipid, lipoprotein and glucose metabolism disturbances, systemic inflammation and increase of lipid peroxidation on the background of insulin resistance whether it has the primary nature or develops as the result of systemic metabolic disturbances.
