The thesis expounds the nature and meaning of formation of jurisprudence skills of pupils of the 9-10th grades. The relevance of topic is substantiated and the concept of "substantive skills of jurisprudence" is formulated, complex jurisprudence skills (to formulate the concepts, to analyse legal regulations, to solve a legal situations, to prepare a legal document) are defined together with criteria and levels of formation. Methodological principles of formation of subject skills pupils of the 9-10th grades in course of jurisprudence are developed and experimentally validated. The method of formation the jurisprudence subject skills of pupils is both developed and tested. The process, qualitative and quantitative results of experiment build a ground to state that introduction of author's method into school curriculum effectively influences the increase the level of jurisprudence subject skills of the pupils of 9-10th grades.
