The dissertation is devoted to functional and stylistic analysis of the medical terminology in modern mass-media Ukrainian literary language. The autor clarifies the status of a linguistic term as a universal unit of language, analyzes its stylistic features - neutral (primary) and functionally expressive (secondary).
