The thesis focuses on actual problems of occupational health and genetics aiming to improve the existing system of primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in coal miners in Ukraine, by identifying genetic markers of genetic predisposiition to development of essential hypertension and coronary heart disease. An assessment of the diagnostic value of individual genetic determinants and their combinations in the development of cardiovascular diseases, resulting in genotypes identified predisposition and resistance to their development.
